Bush's Footage is Canned

I hope this is appropriated for Latest Breaking News.

CNN has twice shown extended footage of Bush today, once meeting with regala folk, and once with reporters.

He blew off criticism of fed slow response, responding that the levee broke on tuesday. He also defended the war on terror, and praised the domestic National Guard - giving the impression that they have been there helping all along.

What occurred to me is neither report was "live". CNN did state that they were taped.

Not that this is any surprising revelation, but Rove seems to be setting up "canned" PR, sympathetic to the president.

Notice no one asked (or was allowed to ask), anything about the feds slashing funds to New Orleans for disaster prevention, or the fact that as we all know here, the feds pinpointed a hurricane in New Orleans being one of three top national disasters that America was facing (2001).
