Who asked Laura Bush to explain a disaster to us?
Oh... that's right, Mr. Rove, as usual.

1. to counteract all those desperate women with babies
on your TV---"stay at home Mom" Bush is here to help. Not some bitchy type like the LA gov, but a *real* woman who *understands*

my words? hardly, that's the concensus where I work. They have been calming down since George arrived with the army and now that Laura "cares so much, you can see it" they are all back in line. All of them. Why not? Its easier.

2. Rove knows and understands the Amer public
He plays them like a cheap guitar. No matter what shit Bush gets himself in Rove is there and knows exactly how to get the rw fundies back in line- either with the little Lady Laura, Bush praying or Bush wearing his macho blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up. (Check it out. Told you days ago this would be the costume of the day.)

6. Yeah, wasn't that her "project?"
Sorta like Miss America has an issue to address. Not that the "lump" would ever have been voted MA. OK, let's see it.

10. Opposites attract.
This is why Barbara Bush is such an advocate for illiteracy: she has experience in her own family.

(careful with that joke, it's an antique)

9. She was asking for volunteers to come to the Gulf coast...
A very noble cause (and people who can go should)

But at the end she was smiling, almost laughing, as she said, "If you can't come this week, there'll be next week and the week after, too."

Thanks, Pickles. Why don't you go help George rebuild Trent Lott's house...
