U.S. Vice-President Dick Cheney will make a visit to Canada in early September. His itinerary, though, isn’t likely to take him near the nation’s capital in Ottawa, as he plans to stick to the more familiar territory of oil-rich Alberta. Cheney’s trip highlights once again the priorities of the U.S. administration. Dick will be here to size up the vaunted tar sands of Alberta which, despite still difficult and costly extraction, some tout as the world’s largest reserve of hydrocarbons.

On September 8, Cheney will have a high-level “invitation-only” dinner in Calgary with western premiers Ralph Klein and Gordon Campbell, with the evening’s host being none other than the ‘non-partisan’ Fraser Institute, an influential right-wing ‘think-tank.’

His schedule has been known for a few days here but there have been no actual sightings.

He has some serious fundraisng plans in September, but "some people say" that his hands can't grab much in his current condition.

5. I heard a newscaster say he was at the WH today

...but I did not see a pic of him. ANYONE??????

I think it is incredibly creepy that all we see lately is Chimpy followed by Deathhead Chertoff, who never leaves his side, rather like a creepy minder. Where is Dick????

6. He has several visits PLANNED for the next few weeks, nothing immediate.

I'm going to post a "Dick Watch" daily every day until he's spotted in the flesh; I've already started one today.

If he doesn't show for any of them, I'd love to see how it's explained. We need to get the word out there. I've mentioned his conspicuous absence to everyone I possibly can.

How many days went by when we did NOT see Al Gore, either in a news photo or on the TV? There is definitely something wrong with Dickie, else why would he not be out there rallying his dark forces to provide support for the incompetent boyking??
