FEMA registration info:
If you think you may be eligible for FEMA help you can call them at 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or register online here:

We went through Ivan and I applied. I got nothing.
There website says they "may" reimburse for insurance deductibles, but the operative word is "may".
They didn't.
The only thing they offered was a so-called low interest loan.
I could have gotten better terms from my credit union.
I didn't want to take on any more debt anyway.

Luckily, the only dwelling damage we had was to a screened porch.

But, to get assistance you MUST register first. You'll answer a questionaire and get an official FEMA case number.
