NOLA crystalizes repug meme: Government ain't no good - privatize.
Edited on Sat Sep-03-05 02:23 PM by Mika
Nothing the government has (hasn't) done has worked so far. Norquist's dream of drowning government in a bathtub (the levee surrounded bathtub of NO).

Wanna bet we'll soon be hearing from the MSM about how the private ops & contractors are working GREAT!?

Just asking.

1. The first person to say that in public
will, I predict, eventually be hunted down and killed by a NOLA survivor.

4. I'm afraid you're right.
Those who lost family in NOLA may want to do to him what he wants to do to government.

2. The problem is that they did privatize.
And the privatized plans failed.

5. DING DING DING DING DING........
we HAVE a winner! My thoughts exactly. We had a functioning, battle hardened FEMA that was turned into a shell of it's former self because bush wanted to "piratize" it. The rest of the government will fall apart as easily as FEMA if bush's policies aren't reversed.

THAT my friends, is the meme that HAS to be pushed!

6. People need to be told and understand that government is mostly privatized
already. Contracted out since the Reagan "Grace Report"

8. Our Federal Govt is run by corporate hacks and they are proof that
corporatists have no clue on how to manage resources. It's not the government that's the problem. It's the leadership. They should be FIRED!!!!
