11. He was also extremely accurate in 2004.
Scott Rasmussen is a Republican, John Zogby is a Democrat.

Both are objective and independent pollsters.

15. "He was also extremely accurate in 2004."
Yes ,he must of known about the stolen elections before hand, in Ohio, Florida, New Mexico and other places.
So this is also accurate for his political purposes.

16. Yep,they gave Scott the "fraudulent" numbers on double secret backround
before the election so his polls, which are rarely quoted by the media since he is independent of a particular network, would be right on the money.

Maybe the reason they use automated calling at Rasmussen is so they can free up their employees to assist in massive vote fraud?

22. Sad but true
In NJ Rasmussen pretty much called the NJ GOP Republican primary the way it finished this year. They were also very accurate last year. I would believe the poll

6. Sorry, but with attitudes like that
this country is over

Soon we will lose the technological edge, the important issues will become teaching creationism in school, prayer in school, and gay marriage

WHAT A SHAME

14. That's about what I expected.
His base is quite satisfied about New Orleans. They are a little peaved about gas prices. So, he'll stick in that 40-45% range.

It is truly depressing that over 40% (or even over 20%!) could approve of the miserable failure. We are a nation going 100 mph on the wrong track.

17. With the press finally doing their job, this is very disappointing to me.
How could it have been more obvious, or made clearer, that Bush utterly failed this country in the past week, to the point of losing American lives, through negligence, in one of our own cities?

18. That's higher than he deserves!
Makes you wonder who the 45% are and why they can't see the light.

20. Bush has not polled higher than 45% since May,
and the last time he polled at 45% was in July. My guess is this is his disaster bump. His disaster bump on 9/11 was from 47% to 90%, so this is good news. Can't fool the folks all of the time, you know.

Edited on Sun Sep-04-05 12:29 AM by jenmito
And he's always on Faux News. He's always about 6% or more higher than every other poll. When the ARG had Bush at 36% Rasmussen had him at48%.

But I was thinking that his approval would be closer to 40, maybe 36.
