Why hasn't the Ragin' Cajun spoken out yet on the NOLA disaster?

I'm surprised James Carville hasn't been blasting the Bush Administration, since he comes from Louisiana.

If he's been speaking out to the media, I haven't heard him yet.
I hope his absence isn't due to being preoccupied with a family tragedy resulting from Katrina.

Very emotional. Married his wife in New Orleans, loves the place...but was seriously considering the idea of not rebuilding it.

Christopher Lydon interviewed him briefly 8/31 on an episode of his "Open Source" show. Carville said explicitly that he will be making no political comments on the disaster aftermath for the time being because his concern right now is helping with relief.

On the other hand... anyone know if Donna Brasile ever found any of her family? I know they were all missing last time I heard.

9. He did. The first day when we all assumed the Bush had called in the

troops instead of calling them all to stand down when they spontaneously stood up themselves & got jiggy (soldiers are like that).

He now, like all Dems, are keeping the politics low so that the truth will speak for itself.

10. Actually heard him on the Tony Kornheiser show...

Here in the DC area a few days ago. He generally comes on to make football picks, but that show was dedicated to storm relief. He is holding a fundraising run in Alexandria, VA.
