Pass this around as you see fit.
Ya know what? We don't even converse with BushCo anymore. We don't ask the Federales for their stinkin' assistance. We're on our own. And just like Huey P. Long knew in 1928, when he threw out the Federales who could not get their lame asses in gear (oh yes, they assasinated him in 1935 in the LA State Capitol building), the South can take care of itself.
Bush is not a Southerner: he's a Connecticutt Yankee and he simply thinks he's the designated dictator in King Arthur's court (if you read Twain). And this is not an incitation re: 'the South shall rise again' except to advocate that it could rise again and be a truly New South: a populist South: respectful of Black Americans and of those who dutifully make their livings. MY: we could have UNIONS.
Think about it: most of the civil rights/ grass roots activists are issuing out of the South. And if the South turns Dem (again: come on you yeller dog Dems: bare those teeth), the Repugs are goin down just like the Tories did in Britain, never to rise again.
Give to Governor Blanco's funds or the American Friends Committee but DON'T give nothin to the Red Cross who is in BushCo pocket (don't forget carpetbagger E. Dole (Senate: NC) was their CEO, dragging in $500,000/ yr) or to Pat Robertson's sinkhole Operation Blessing (Operation: stick in my pocket so I can find some legal funds for when Caeser Chavez comes after me cause I told people to kill him). Yes, these are the first 2 organizations on the FEMA page.
We're on our own, people. GET THE GOP OUT OF THE SOUTH. And then wipe up w/ the L.A.D.'s: lard assed Democrats who cannot get into gear.
