Not the Blame Game - we want to play the Accountability Game!
And we want to play it now! Because lives have been lost. People who survived the hurricane did not survive the aftermath when there was manpower and food and water available. Broussard made the most excellent point - if you do not get rid of and fire those responsible for this disgrace and national humiliation, then how many more deaths will we suffer in a future event?

And in any investigation I have one overriding question -

Who in the Bush Administration decided that the citizen victims of a natural disaster were the enemy? Why was the policy of FEMA and HS so clearly based on Control and Contain and not Rescue and Relief?

1. That's right. It's not about politics. It's about patriotism!
Peace.

2. Excellent rephrasing.
That's it -- it's not BLAME -- it's ACCOUNTABILITY. Something the Repugs are supposed to be all into.

4. Exactly - watch the framing.
Accountabilty... and fixing what's horribly broken before more people die needlessly.

5. That's what several journalists shouted out today at Scotty's presser.
"It's not blame, it's accountability!"

They are pissed.
