Reid, Dean, and Clinton: Go ahead and form your committee.
Move somewhat quickly. I don't care how much Bush spoke today about "leading" an investigation, go ahead and put together an independent panel.

The media WILL cover it. The press briefing today proves just how angry and hungry for answers as are the rest of the American people.

1. They know better than to believe anything W says.
Dean does, anyway. Not absolutely sure about the other two, but here's hoping.

2. I don't see why a panel has to be "independent."
Is there something so unfair about Bush being criticized that only an "independent" entity can do it? The Dems should demand a full regular Congressional investigation and let the GOP try to stop it. It should start tomorrow.

3. That'll work.
Either way, the Democrats are set to lead... even if they're not "officially" leading.

4. Are they planning to...
I hadn't heard that.

I know that Dean would, 100%.

I am 67% Reid would.

I am 33% sure that Clinton would. BTW, which one are we talking about?
