She has three Duke University college kids who drove right up to the Superdome and saved some people. She looked right in the camera and said words to the effect of "Well, Washington DC, what have you got to say about that? Three college kids could drive right up to the Superdome and you couldn't get in there."

she was on her way to becoming an English teacher or something like that, when her fiancee was brutally murdered. That event changed the direction of her life, and she is a tireless victim's advocate.

As for the Aruba saturation, it is the mindless media fixation of the moment, and the lady has bosses, too. I think she's a force for good. Yes, she has a "flair" for melodrama, but it's entirely sincere and she is who she is.
