Isn't 50% of New Orleans still under water? I am also confused about how there are twice as many dead in Mississippi than in Louisiana. I thought there were reports of morgues with like 1200 dead in them. So where do they get the 344 number?

using missing person's reports and records etc.

I have a feeling that the academics (scientists) who have been under attack by the bushies are going to let this slide.

Eventually we should have a solid number from sources WE can trust.
