Nancy Pelosi has been doing a lot of heavy lifting lately, and taking some heat for it. I have been pleasantly surprised by her new attitude. She was right to share that "special" moment with the chimp, and to reveal him for what he is: totally clueless and, yes, stupid. Anyone who didn't think anything had gone wrong with the Katina situation is stupid. It took guts for Nancy to go public with it.

She also shot down one of my least favorite bushbot "journalists", Kyra Phillips. Phillips has gone from doe-eyed cooing and emoting whenever * is mentioned, to filing fluff pieces as an embedded mouthpiece during Iraq, to simply blatantly inserting her bias into interviews without any pretext. Nancy suggested she go on the White House Payroll!

I met the lady last Summer, very briefly. It was at a fundraiser, and Bill Clinton was there too. She walked by, and the hubby pulled me with him as he ran up to her. I had no idea what he was going to do. He told her "get tough" and explained that people were hungry for someone, anyone to hold these fools accountable. Well, she is starting to do it.

Again, have you sent her encouragement?
