He agreed with Eleanor Clift that "The People" are angry about Bush's Katrina disaster-- and it won't just go away.

JMcL's point about the press covering the story is important because that's the whole point right there: The Press. Is Covering. The story. And because of that. The People. are winning. the Blame Game.

Pat Buchanan was a rabid dog, trying to get up on his little tiny hind legs, screeching and shivering like a ferocious chiahuahua wearing a toupee. Really desperate.

Does Corporate Welfare always lead to Genocide?

Will the press continue to cover the story?

Will the number of bodies recovered in New Orleans be suppressed by Big Gubmint not allowing the press to cover the story?

from where I sat, was, that they flogged it so hard starting maybe wednesday or thursday, that they actually kind of made people pay attention to the man behind the curtain, so to speak- over a 48 hour period you literally couldn't turn on the tube without either some Admin. apologist anchor, or some Bush toady (or Poppy and Bar, when she wasn't talking about how the superdome "worked out well for those people") going on about the "blame game". They pushed it so hard that the WH press corps actually called scott mcclellan on it as a "talking point" the second day he tried to hide behind it.

As far as the FEMA censorship deal, I really think these guys in the administration are so used to Iraq, where they can cover up things like dead bodies of Americans or brutality or the "worse, far worse" images from Abu Ghraib indefinitely, that they just assumed that they could implement the same kind of 'reality management' in Louisiana.
