Anyone knows what was Mubarak's political template?

As you all may know, Egypt's President got like 88% of the votes, which earned him another 'mandate'.

As you also know, there was a bombing in Charm el-Sheikh (not even 2 month before these elections) that killed many people.

Did Mubarak mention this attack often in his campaign? Like 'vote for me again, these things won't happen' and so on ?

I tried to read up a bit, but the only Arabic newspaper I can read is Al-Jazeera -- because of it's english section. All of the other online Egyptian newspaper are Arabic. :(
