As the "fog of flood" clears and government officials are able to make sense of the confusion, it seems there were actually only 5,000 at Superdome and most of them were Americorp volunteers from Iowa and Utah to come help the "less fortunate".

Another correction: FEMA Chief Brown was right. There was no convention center. It was all a big misunderstanding. The final death toll is probably going to be 911 casualties.

7. My gut reaction guestimate is about 50,000 dead in N.O. alone.

Plus, at the Superdome, remember how they kept saying they were waiting, and waiting to 'remove' the last 5,000 there? About 20% dead in a closed, disease-ridden environment with no food or water for 5 days. In the Superdome, FIVE thousand is my guess. Plus all the people stranded and drown in their homes throughout the town. And I'm only guestimating for N.O.

'Word' was yesterday that 25,000 MORE body bags were ordered. There were several semi-trailer trucks full of bodies headed for that morgue town the other day.

We need to DEMAND the truth of the dead count...of this mass "negligent homicide." First we can't see or count the coffins of our soldiers coming home, now this non-accountability. I believe that's one of the real reasons the Admin. doesn't want foreign government rescue teams in the area. THEY would be 'counting.'

Plus, we already know how bad with numbers this Admin. is. The Press needs to help us here. Someone in the Press down there MUST have a better idea of the TRUE numbers. For the sake of all those who needlessly died, if not at least for the their surviving relatives, give us the TRUE numbers....PLEASE! Someone? Anyone?
