It's a difficult issue...I'm hoping this program repeats.

2. ...that may be, but the program seems pretty balanced (what I've seen)
Example:

Priest started talking about how when we are hungry and thirsty and desperate that it changes us, and "if someone thinks that isn't what would happen to them, then they don't know themselves."

Rabbi (I think) also said that this is not a question of race and that the crisis showed how much we are all alike under the skin. (Essentially what they have been saying is that white people, in the same circumstances, would behave the same way the poor blacks in the Superdome/Convention Center did.)

That's just a taste, and I've not seen all of it (missing some now as I write this)...but it seems worth watching.

Jansing was a local anchor in Albany NY for years, and was very popular and a great person. She supported a lot of community causes.

She's not real political, so is more likely to buy into the MSM spin than some. But on a larger level, I think she primarily sees herself as a journalist and a person who tries to do good.

3. She's doing a great job and asking real
'hardball' questions. Especially, .."How does a local (NOLA area) first responder and officials choose between doing his job or saving his family?

I think this is what:

http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2005/08/20050827-1.html

was designated to do? Guess what confuses me, FEMA should have taken over once the Federal Emergency was declared 48 hours before Katrina struck the Gulf Coast?
