If MSNBC strokes Bush any harder, they'll start taking off skin...
Complaint #1: The front page...

"WORDS OF COMFORT?" If you were comforted by this morning's radio address, reply here and share your reasons for feeling comforted.

Complaint #2: The article headline and sub-header...

Bush: Gulf Coast to be ‘more vibrant than ever’
On 9/11 anniversary, president compares attack aftermath, Katrina disaster

"Compares attack aftermath, Katrina disaster"...and MSNBC approves of this?

Complaint #3: "Harsh criticism from Democrats"

OOOOOOOOH....we're SO harsh.

:grr:

Complaint #4: BULLSHIT quotes from Junior's radio address...

Recalling Sept. 11 attacks: Bush often talks about Sept. 11 when he is under public scrutiny, and Sunday’s anniversary was a natural occasion to reminisce about the attacks as he faces criticism for a slow government response to the hurricane and subsequent flooding. In his radio address, he drew similarities to the two catastrophes that hit the United States four years apart.

“Today, America is confronting another disaster that has caused destruction and loss of life,” the president said in his prerecorded broadcast. “This time the devastation resulted not from the malice of evil men, but from the fury of water and wind.”

Bush’s plans for Sunday’s anniversary include a memorial church service and moment of silence at the White House before he makes his third trip to the states hit by the hurricane.

“Four years later, Americans remember the fears and uncertainty and confusion of that terrible morning,” he said. “But above all, we remember the resolve of our nation to defend our freedom, rebuild a wounded city, and care for our neighbors in need.

2. I sense Karen Hulk on the job here
she is the mistress of soothing obfuscation. Her trademark--a hint of rebuke to the listener that they should even dare to approach the Dauphin with their ridiculous concerns.

Damn she's good--NOT! She performs surgery with a chainsaw. Any idiot who falls for this eschat deserves the torture they will receive in Gitmo.

4. That was my immediate response this morning...
...Hughes' distinctive "scent" was all OVER Bush's little "pep talk."
