Interesting old Shrub story....
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/craig-crawford/the-unmasking-of-george-b_b_7128.html

"I first saw W's true nature back when he was first "elected" President in 2000. I was watching the BBC (naturally, not an American news show...), and they were doing a report on W moving out of the Texas Governor's mansion and into the White House. As W chatted with reporters, a mover in the background was trying to lift a large credenza, and W paused from his interview to go help the mover. They each lifted one end of the credenza, cameras flashed for a few moments as W grinned... then when the flashes stopped, W put down his end of the credenza, and HE WALKED AWAY... without a word to the moving guy, he returned to the reporters... That moment of self-absorption told me everyhting I ever needed to know about W, and nothing that he haas said or done (or failed to say or do) since then has surprised me in the least. The man has more than a few crucial parts missing....

4. What's amazing is that the stories rarely leak out.
There must be mountains of this sort of shit; how long can they keep shoving it under the rug?

2. It also shows how sure he was that no reporter will comment on it
In Journeys with George, the filmmaker asks W why should she vote for him. "If you want to keep your job - NBC owes me a few things..."

3. LOL. The Photo Op President
The GOP did it with Reagan, and they are doing it again with Bush. They have been ever since 2000. They create their own little world, their own reality, and live with their delusions. They use staged events like this to reinforce their believe that Bush is a "good, simple, honest man", just like them.

5. It's worse than that: The future is nothing but photo ops...

Manipulation via the media is here to stay (U.S. movies dominate the world for a reason). It's down to a science: Of course you know that advertising comanies are spending tens of millions of dollars to research mind manipulation but they're now to the point of using MRIs to find out our emotional responses to various messages.

Read Douglas Rushkoff and George Lakoff. We're f*cked. Trust me on this one.
