12. no, no!
Think of those folks in transition. They are leaving Bush and not quite there yet. The ones who should be institutionalized are the ones who still like Bush.

6. Ain't this fucked up:
per Newsweek's poll:

"49 percent of Americans and the same percentage of registered voters believe Bush is intelligent and well-informed—down from 59 percent before the election"

Fucking 49% of Americans think the retarded Chimp IS INTELLIGENT?????

I am speechless.

10. That was the one number in the poll I couldn't believe
This just showd how successful KKKarl has been in creating an image of Bush that has nothing to do with reality.

7. "tee hee" indeed!
I needn't comment here; these *scientifically accurate* polls kinda' say it all for me. I will say, however, that I share your "tee hee", and I'll add that I just love it when we can serve this up on a plate for all FreakRepublicans to *eat*.

And thanx for the link. PollingReport is a new one for me, and I DO love compact, neatly compiled stats.

20. Those numbers are WRONG!
Bush NEVER had 85% "approval" ratings. (look down the poll) Even after 9/11, there were a helluva lot more of us who KNEW the boosh team MIHOP or LIHOP'ed 9/11.

22. What did I say? Neocons use these polls
for damage-limitation purposes.

I know H L Mencken wasn't a great believer in the political savvy of the average American, but I think even he'd have to concede that, after 4 years of such misrule these polls are a laughable insult to the average American's powers of perception.
