It has been a while since I have heard from my Freeper Freak in Oklahoma. Some of you might remember from earlier installments that our friend in OK and I have been exchanging emails debating the shortcommings of our opposing positions.

After the Katrina disaster, I was so disgusted with Bush that I had to email her. I only wrote one line: "I bet you're real proud of your president now, eh?"

she's not a Christian. She's a Jew. As a Christian we follow Christ who is in, guess what, the New Testament. My preacher hardly ever uses the Old Testament. If he does it's to reference back to something. But anyone who goes by the Old Testament isn't considered following the Christian faith because Christ is in the New Testament. The old testament is considered a history book of sorts for the Christian faith and nothing more. When was the last time you heard of a Christian who recognizes and keeps the Sabbath day holy? I read a few sentences and couldn't. It just hurt my head too much. And the last time I remember the terrorist attack that happened in 1993 happened a few months after Clinton got into office and the terrorists are in jail. Same with Timothy McVeigh while Usama BinLaden is still running around free. Also, with the New Testament Jesus changed things and God changed as well. Jesus was the Prince of Peace. "Love thy neighbor" and all that which includes gay people and the French and even Usama BinLaden.

There would be times when my children were little that I would somehow find myself sucked into an argument with them. And they would nearly always win. Because they were not bound by any rules of logic or reason. You could catch them with chocolate on their lips and ask them if they ate the last cookies and they would answer, "No, the dog did it." Then you could point out that the cookies were in a jar inside a cabinet and they would reply...'The dog did it.' At some point you catch yourself explaining the anatomy of dogs and how it is no compatible with operating door knobs or jar lids...and realize that there was simply no point.
