My guess is it is meant to have some subliminal effect on either the people there or those seeing them in photographs. Colors have a definite effect on the psyche. I'll bet anything it was planned.

13. The White Suit

Since some of you are talking about the meaning of white I will ask a question. Since white is a color that is easily dirtied is it possible that Laura Bush wore white as a way to keep people from hugging her? It seems to me that people would see the white and think I should not/cannot hug her in that her suit might get dirty. So what I am asking is, is it possible that Laura Bush put herself in a position that she did not have to hug people and would not get cricitized for not hugging people in that she would not be recoiling from people trying to hug her, or pictured making a face when someone tried to hug her?

we don't really know the context this was in. Maybe she was talking to the lady with the kid and put her hand on the kids back and then she started talking to the other lady and just didn't take her hand of his back. I really think we're jumping to conclusions. I looked through his whole picture analysis and I didn't think any of them were that bad. It is interesting in this picture that the lady behind laura looks like she doesn't really give a damn that she's about 2 ft from FLOTUS.

Is all people in the room except the two women in the photo are ignoring Laura. I think it's quite humerous since Laura is supposed to be so well liked.

29. I thought about this picture when I saw Bill Clinton on TV this

morning.

He was holding a little black girl and talking to her. Unlike Laura's tentative touch, he was embracing the little girl. Unlike *, he knows how to hold a child. She seemed fascinated with Bill. The contrast was stunning.
