A soldier was killed Sunday while on patrol near Samarra.
Remember when that would have made the evening news?

Since May 1, 2003, when President Bush declared that major combat operations in Iraq had ended, 1,758 U.S. military members have died, according to AP's count. That includes at least 1,361 deaths resulting from hostile action, according to the military's numbers.

As of Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005, at least 1,897 members of the U.S. military have died since the beginning of the Iraq war in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.

2. 12 (13?) now have died in Iraq during September ...
and in Afghanistan, 51 American soldiers have died this year ... that's the most deaths since 2001 ... most Americans don't know that war is still going on ...

how many more must die before every single American calls for an end to this madness? how many more must die so that we can guard the Iraqi oil fields for American oil companies?

4. Grrrrr..

How are Americans going to tolerate this administration for 3 more years??

It's taken a natural disaster to show them what we've all known all along ..

Like Craig Crawford said tonight on MSNBC, when Bush needs more money for Iraq, how on earth will he be able to face the nation to ask for it.

Mr. Bush, America has turned on you!

5. Especially when he still promotes tax cuts to the rich
and benefit cuts to the poor. He wants other countries infrastrucuture built while denying our own. Can hardly wait to see how the Bushbots defend this.
