Interesting tidbit from the Conservative Conference, they're angry at Bush

Later, at a panel called "Previewing the 2004 Elections," Jeff Bell, a lobbyist who pushed for Bush's 2001 tax cuts and his faith-based initiatives, acknowledged that the upcoming election was going to be a rough fight. "Democrats are wising up," he said. "They're not going to be the sitting ducks that Max Cleland and others were in 2002," referring to the former Georgia Democratic senator who lost three limbs in Vietnam but was nonetheless tarred as a traitor by Republicans.

1. The fact that there's far more apathy on the right than on the left
right now is our biggest strength. What cracks me up is that these people are pissed at Bush because he's not conservative enough.

What's interesting about these conservative get togethers reveal a lot about what the speakers really believe. According to the story Elaine Chao, who should be showing a little concern about the job situation, is far more concerned about what sodomoy is doing to the country.

2. Know how I interpret the remarks in light of the reference to Cleland?
And the sitting ducks comment?

They're saying we're not going to accept more vote theft and accompanying dirty and dishonest campaigns.
