I finally got a chance to see the new "Al Kedda" tape released by Joe Whitey from California and I have to say, this is the worst yet.
http://english.people.com.cn/200509/12/eng20050912_207958.htmlApparently, Joe Whitey is an converted American Muslim from Kalifornia who is "Desperately Seeking Allah", and he couldn't come at a better time. With the President's poll numbers in the tank, the GOP needs a shot in the arm, a good Terror plot to get American's minds off of the Katrina screw up. Unfortunately, they are still using the same old tired routines they have used in the past. From the phoney baloney Bin Laden tapes to the bogus Nick Berg execution, these "terrorists" have shown a lack of imagination and their love of "B" movies prevents them from developing other creative means of terror expression. I think it's time we Democrats stepped in and helped out.
Our President is in serious trouble and just because no one voted him in doesn't mean we should abandon our beloved leader. I am kicking around the idea of a "Terror Video" contest to help pull the President out of his nose-dive and wonder how many people would like to submit their "Save President Bush Terror Videos". I am also thinking about offer a $100 prize to the highest rated video but I think there needs to be some very specific guidelines to keep people out of trouble. First I think there should be a disclaimer that the Bushites can edit out when they release it to the public that states that this is only a contest submission and an not an actual terrorist threat. Secondly, I believe the Muslim connection is a bit tired so it's time we developed a new "terrorist" regime to demonize. I am sort of partial to "Terror Mimes" as most people hate mimes anyway but I am really looking for creativity here so the field is wide open. Before I start the contest, I would like some discussion on whether or not there's a possibility I could get in trouble for this. I believe this is protected by the First Amendment but I understand that they are considering changing that to the Frist Amendment which may make this sort of satire illegal. What are your thoughts on a contest of this nature?
