Osama bin Laden is smiling today

Remember, if you will, when bin Laden said that he wanted to bankrupt us, he wanted to actually watch us destroy ourselves. Well, I think he is very happy with the results of September 11th, 2001. Let's reflect:

- we have a leader, who we reelected, who has lied to get us into a war of choice, in which we are hemmorhaging money and blood. Osama bin Laden smiles.

- we have a leader who strummed while one of our cities drowned and a country and world looked on as we left our poorest citizens to plead and scream for water for days, or to drown alone, without any help from our government.

- we have a country totally divided, well, less so today than on election day, but still divided. Gas prices are hurting the average American, many of us will not be able to afford any luxuries this year, many of us will not be able to afford even the necessities. We have many economic indicators saying we are heading for a recession.

Osama is smiling today.

I completely agree. I am sickened by the media and Bushies calling 9-11 "Bush's finest hour". Heck, he couldn't even be found for days. Osama must be laughing out loud, wherever he is.
