The Republicans say Americans are NOT entitled to know...
They say you are not entitled to know what the new Supreme Court Justice will have to say about important issues like abortion, civil rights, or any human rights.
The Republicans say you are not entitled to know what Dick Cheney and the energy companies agreed to or even discussed. Did anything they discussed lead to the record high prices we have had since before Katrina hit the Gulf Coast?
The Republicans don't think you want to know where Osama bin Ladin is. Between the CIA, the Saudi royal family, and the Israeli Moussad, do you think George W Bush has not been informed about bin Ladin's location?

The Republicans certainly don't trust us, who should trust them?

1. Would they say this 7 years ago?
I think not. This is seems like a good play when your team is running the ball.

3. Have our Dem leaders really pressed to get any of the books open?
My guess is they haven't done much bitching - or the press is doing a good job keeping those stories out of the public's mind.

5. Of course
Cause they know all they're doing. The whole public would know their dirty secrets (and not that kind).

Religious fundamentalists, religious fanatics, religious extremists. I think that covers it.

4. I Was Screaming at the Radio
Was listening to cspan in the car and couldn't believe the repug senators saying certain questions should not be asked. That is the bottom line with this administration. Because they have no intellectual curiousity they want us to have none. What can be said about a president who doesn't read???? The goat book doesn't count!
I hope the dems ask thousands of questions.

10. Clinton said...
he had a relationship with Monica Lewinsky "Because I could".
Bush and the Republicans lie, "Because they can".

8. This is the most paranoid president since Richard Nixon
They are all about hiding things. I wonder if they are destroying things too. Somewhere there is the equivalent of Fawn Hall sitting at a shredder with lots of documents the American people "shouldn't see".

9. No he's not.
He's far more paranoid than Nixon. And that's saying something.
