There are parliamentary procedures that need to be followed and we all know the political reality, the pugs will not do it

Ok I offer a theory....

Flashback to Watergate, when did they finally introduce the articles? Oh yes when the talk of the people WAS impeachment. We can make this happen, or at least reduce their power by repeating the mantra.

Will it happen overnight? no, but we are well on our way.

Mull this factoids

At the height of the Clinton Impeachment at most 32-33% were demanding it... you know who them are. One day Zogby ran a poll and he found that without the media circle's 48% of us want it... so here is your mission, if you should choose to accept it... in every letter you write to congress critter (and I mean congress, your senators it might be optional right now), remind them that they have committed impeachable offenses and you want them to do their duty. In every letter to the editor you write demand impeachment, in your random talks, demand impeachemt... we don't control congress, but if enough pressure builds they will do something, exactly what good question... and if and when we take back the house in 2006, they will have the political capital to put the country through that hell.

2. While I think Bush's impeachment is very unlikely

The one thing that Republicans did in their sham impeachment of Clinton is take the impeachment process off the pedestal in American politics, they made it completely political.

Since Republicans impeached Clinton for getting a blowjob, today there is probably a larger section of the population that would be willing to see a President impeached when they fall out of favor because the impeachment process has lost some of its respect and obscurity.
