Have I not been paying attention lately, or is this a new coinage of phrase by MSNBC and specifically that blonde bobblehead who's opposite Ron Reagan? She is having a discussion with the male anchor about the Roberts nomination, and both of them are using the phrase "this is going to break along PARTISAN LINES" rather, of course, than PARTY LINES. To me, this is inflammatory language, designed and obviously quite deliberately CHOSEN to create an appearance of partisan "bickering". They are laying the groundwork for calling the Demos obstructionist partisans, I'm sure. And this is MSNBC for chrissake.
