the adage of 'if it ain't broke....' doesn't seem to apply to the selection process in this country. From 'finance reform' all the way down and through this process and beyond, i.e., electoral college, this clearly is broke and is in dire need of some fixin'.

Iowa and NH have much more clout than they should have. The media gets to declare the winners of these states "frontrunners" only because they are first.

If California voted first, whoever had the most money would win. That person would become the nominee. Period. End of story.

New Hampshire does require individual, one-on-one attention. It's one place where old style politicking is required. Is it the most diverse state in the nation? No. But the people of NH do listen.

As a disclaimer, I am from NH, but one year removed from voting in the primary.
