RIP: "Liberals Hate America"
Edited on Tue Sep-13-05 07:18 PM by dhinojosa
I like to pay my last respects, er, just say goodbye to the term used by conservatives for the last 20+ years, "Liberals Hate America".

It's obvious now that Bush had to spill his guts and admit it was his fault about relief effort in Louisiana. His admittance was a culmination of what liberals have been saying for many years: conservatives fail time and again to protect its citizens at a time of crisis.

The term "Liberals hate America" was their smokescreen to put liberals in a bad light for voters. They did this because they had no real plan, except to disparage everything and anything that liberals would say about security and freedom. It was, in fact, the conservatives that "Hated America", and it took a hurricane to wash off their gilded facade.

Liberals never played the game of "You hate America", and for that , we are the better group. But now, thankfully, these conservatives have to answer questions about their readiness against not only natural disasters; but also of terrorism, viruses like the bird flu, racism, and poverty.

So farewell "Liberals hate America", don't let the door hit your ass on your way out.

5. Republicans Don't Recognize America
They don't hate it. they just have no clue about WHO America is and what democracy and freedom really mean.

The country that they "Love" is a fantasy dystopia.
