Just heard on Lehrer's NewsHour that it's never happened before.

5. Winning IA and NH mean nothing except someone gets the delegates
they're entitled to get.

The primaries on 2/3 and super tuesday are the biggest.

7. I don't get it
Why should a state the size of the region I live in have so much power? I look at the numbers and wonder why what NH says should be such a big deal.

Let CA vote first next time...

8. Because the media and other weaselly people make it that way.
They hold up one state or one event to such high standards that everyone looks to it as a sign of sorts. If any one of the third place or more people dropped out right now, it would become a more even race.
