I am losing my mind...
I am emailing with somebody that I just figured out is a freeper. She thinks Bush is a great guy for 'taking responsibility'. I sent her a copy of the Congressional Research Service's report that concluded that Blanco didn't do anything wrong and she STILL maintains that she did. She says that CRS is just refusing to look at all the info.

It is so WEIRD that I have known this woman for five years and while I knew she was a little conservative, I had no clue that she was a freeper. We know each other through the horse business and I really considered her a friend. I was just blown away when I got her first emails about Katrina. How can you chat with somebody for years and not know they are a nutcase?

2. this same thing happened to me
I was part of a message board on Civil War stuff, good buddies with two friends, exchanging Christmas gifts and everything, then boom, the day after the election one emailed me and asked how I was, and I said I could not believe 51% of this country thinks Bush is a good example of a MORAL LEADER.

That was it, never heard from her again, and the other friend is pretty cool too.
Now I just share my politics here.

10. This friend is 35 and lives in a rural community in No. Cal.
I think its her husband that is feeding her this stuff. So far she has made several references to "Bob says...".

6. During the last election I found out my husband is a damn freeper
We had never really talked about it (I guess) becouse, I was ranting on about how I was going to vote and how he had better vote. He spoke up and said, I am a republican and I will be voting for Mr Bush. I just about jumped out of the car. I thought about if it was grounds enough for divorce. I of course dont really know how he voted. Or if he was just messing with me but I have never voiced my opinon on the Bush issue again (I will save that for here)
