The riches member of the House has decided that the victims of Hurricane Katrina can kiss his white rich ass. Wisconsin Republican Rep. James Sensenbrenner has once again helped to prove that Republicans hate Americans. He has used his position as the chair of the Hose Judiciary Committee but not allowing a bill come to the floor. What bill you ask, well it was a bill that was to except those affected by Hurricane Katrina from some of the provisions of the very draconian bankruptcy bill that is set to take effect in the next few weeks.

Sensenbrenner basiclly said, to hell with those poor black people. He has attempted to make comments like, “If someone in Katrina is down and out, and has no possibility of being able to repay 40 percent or more of their debts, then the new bankruptcy law doesn't apply” if that is true, then why are you shutting down this bill, why are you scared to bring it to the floor.

Under the new law, anyone whose income is over the state median must file under Chapter 13, a more restrictive category that requires some repayment of debt. The new law grants no exemption for natural disaster, even though it’s going to be a little tough for some citizen sitting in the Astrodome who no longer has a home to come up with tax statements, pay stubs, and six months of income and expense data. Let’s see if Congress can manage to open its marble heart on this issue.

If it is not clear to you yet, especially you Republican supporters that love everything that they do, this administration, and the Republican leadership does not give a shit about you unless you have inc. LLC or Corp in your name. Look around your home, what happens if it were gone all of the sudden, this administration says to you, “Piss off, you are not an inc. so we don’t care”

I almost want to ask, Republicans, do you no longer have a heart at all? Shame, pure and utter shame.
