I posted that they appeared to be acting like the prosecutors at a trial. I didn't see much of them today, I'll watch tonight on cspan when they rerun all of today's hearing.

3. Roberts' Conflict of Interest

While Roberts was judging a case, he was negotiating a job offer with one of the defendants. That's a clear conflict of interest.

2. What is he asking?

Usually he has a really good rational for anything he is asking. He also doesn't like bullshit.

4. he asked roberts if recusal had ever entered his mind or the issue

raised while he was hearing arguments that involved this government (hamdi?) while simultaneously being interviewed by these same people for a job (to the highest court in this country)
