1. It speeds up the profit building process...
Because fair pay for labor is money "stolen" from Republicans.

Fat ass contracts for Halliburton and wage cuts for workers. You really have to wonder just how much WORSE it can get with this fucker we have for a President.

Each day is yet another chapter.....

3. It's no longer a surprise that Bush and his cronies...
...will screw the 'little people' every chance they get. But what is a surprise is that 'our' party continues to allow them to do it to us.

4. It would really speed things up if we did away with child labor laws.

5. Hell...
they lowered wages and weakened environmental laws so I would not be surprised if child labor is next.

6. This isn't even good for Halliburton
As I understand it the no-bid contracts awarded to Halliburton and others are "cost plus" type jobs whereby the contractor is paid a certain percentage profit based on all his costs including labor, materials, equipment etc. If the labor costs go down - viola, his total costs go down and therefore his profit also. Seems to me a contractor would want to pay higher wages if he is guaranteed a larger profit on those wages, but wtf do I know.

9. Lou Dobbs went off on Sen Sessions on this...it was great.
I don't have the link but it's worth finding.

Dobbs said with the economy in the battered sections so devastated, why on earthy would you invoke Davic Bacon? Sessions said something like, I don't know what you mean. Then, the very best part, Dobbs gave one of those huge eye rolls and disgusted looks. He was verging...on saying, "Listen asshole, if you don't know what I mean, you shouldn't be a fucking Senator." Go Sam Kennison on the guy. It was real close.
