Group Wants Christians To Fill S.C., Secede
Fringe group watch.
By bluedawg12

These folks are new but getting quite a bit of press. I think Jon Stewart’s Daily show interviews one of the CE people who moved his family from Pa. to S.C.

Keep an eye on this group. Tie in with aggrieved confederate hold outs, RubyRidge anti- government folks, and people who hate gays in the name of the Lord.

http://christianexodus.org/

WELCOME TO THE CHRISTIAN EXODUS

ChristianExodus.org is coordinating the move of thousands of Christians to South Carolina for the express purpose of re-establishing Godly, constitutional government. It is evident that the U.S. Constitution has been abandoned under our current federal system, and the efforts of Christian activism to restore our Godly republic have proven futile over the past three decades. The time has come for Christians to withdraw our consent from the current federal government and re-introduce the Christian principles once so predominant in America to a sovereign State like South Carolina.

THE PROBLEM

Christians have actively tried to return the United States to their moral foundations for more than 30 years. We now have a "Christian" president, a "Christian" attorney general, and a Republican Congress and Supreme Court. Yet consider this:

Abortion continues against the wishes of many States
Sodomite marriage is now legal in Massachusetts (and coming soon to a neighborhood near you)
Children who pray in public schools are subject to prosecution 1
Our schools continue to teach the discredited theory of Darwinian evolution
The Bible is still not welcome in schools except under unconstitutional FEDERAL guidelines
The 10 Commandments remain banned from public display
Sodomy is now legal AND celebrated as "diversity" rather than condemned as perversion
Preaching Christianity will soon be outlawed as "hate speech" 1 2

http://www.southernnationalist.org/christian_exodus.htm

We have discussed and advocated here that any movement toward reestablishing our birthright of freedom must begin with a reconnection with Southern Core Values. The meager plan presented here describes what is required.

A Free (and Christian) South Carolina?

Group Wants Christians To Fill S.C., Secede
http://www.wdsu.com/family/3403144/detail.html
“... newly-formed group of Christian activists has begun plans to encourage up to 12,000 like-minded individuals to move to South Carolina. Their hope is to eventually withdraw that state from the United States and "reestablish the sovereign Christian nation of South Carolina."

But SC is so hot and humid. I say we just give it to them.

Okay, maybe it isn't so funny I ought not to joke. What a bunch of creeps. Yikes.

41. Come move to NY - it really is beautiful!!
We have seasons, we have beaches, NJ beaches are close, we have the most beautiful, breathtaking autumn you can ever imagine, we have great skiing, and beautiful, incredibly green springs. Plus, we will get rid of all of our wingnuts, so we will have universal health care, rights for women, minorities and gays, FAIR taxes for all, and a Dem for president.

Think about it - it might not be so bad.

16. Yeah, I know how that is...
Might be nice to have them all set up in their own little country. Maybe they'd feel better. I know I certainly would. They could run the whole damned thing their way and have as much religious persecution and fanaticism as they wanted. They could turn back the clock to the 13th century, or maybe even farther back - like to the 6th or 7th century? Hell, why stop there? They could go even farther back and demonstrate to us how the dinosaurs really did share space with everybody and everything else on Noah's arc and how everybody, including the dinosaurs, was a vegetarian in the Garden of Eden. Lord Have Mercy! There REALLY would finally be a "Jesusland."

6. Inject some facts:
"Abortion continues against the wishes of many States"
The 14th Amend. is law regardless of what state government wants.

"Sodomite marriage is now legal in Massachusetts (and coming soon to a neighborhood near you)"
Doubtful that it will be accepted outside of MA. Even so, so what if it is. No one is forcing it on them.

"Children who pray in public schools are subject to prosecution"
False. This is not true and never as been. It is officially orcestrated prayer that is disallowed and only in public schools. The writer violates the 9th Commandment.

"Our schools continue to teach the discredited theory of Darwinian evolution "
Evolution is a proven fact. It is only discredited by those who refuse to accept it. Accept it or not, it happened.

"The Bible is still not welcome in schools except under unconstitutional FEDERAL guidelines "
Which are what?? If those 'guidelines' mean the 1st Amend., then that is the law. Anyway doesn't St. Paul's letter to the Romans require these people to submit to lawful authority? The Bible is allowed in public schools as an example of literature or mythology, but not as scientific fact.

"The 10 Commandments remain banned from public display"
False. Only state sponsored displays designed to promote a religious purpose are banned.

"Sodomy is now legal AND celebrated as "diversity" rather than condemned as perversion"
Hallalujia!

"Preaching Christianity will soon be outlawed as "hate speech""
False. Of course urging people to kill 'fags' is still inciting violence.

12. Let's invade Easter Island, throw out the Chileans or whoever owns it
now, and let them all go live there. It would be heaven to them, I am sure. They could spend the first year bashing and destroying all the statues, and then get down to business stoning all their insufficiently religious folks to death with the remnants.

And because the trees have all been cut down, nobody will be able to do anything in private, so the nosy busybodies will be able to make sure there is no hanky-panky going on.

14. coppulators...or is it copulites...secede from the world.
Gosh, I love the power of language and note how it reveals the bias of the speaker.

I mean, what's up with this sodomites thing? Yea, I know, Genesis, some place called S&G, Lot's (not Trent's) wife turns to salt.

Yea, I know Pharaoh and slavery was the norm and you know...this is the 21st century and I don't care ... so give up the quaint faux biblical language you separatist copulites, you.

Main Entry: sodomy
Pronunciation: 'sä-d&-mE
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, from Old French sodomie, from Late Latin Sodoma Sodom; from the homosexual proclivities of the men of the city in Gen 19:1-11
1 : copulation with a member of the same sex or with an animal
2 : noncoital and especially anal or oral copulation with a member of the opposite sex

Main Entry: copulate
Pronunciation: 'kä-py&-"lAt
Function: intransitive verb
Inflected Form(s): -lated; -lating
Etymology: Latin copulatus, past participle of copulare to join, from copula
: to engage in sexual intercourse

If there's one thing us South Carolinians hate, it's people coming from out of state to tell us what to do, even if we agree with them. We tend to call them "Yankee Agitators" or "carpet baggers." These nuts will not be welcome here.

This is the best idea I have heard in years - we should have let them secede the first time.

Liberals and gays would be fine in Columbia and Charleston. Rural areas, gays would have a hard time but liberals would still be fine. You'd be surprised at the amount of old hill-billy hippies that reside in rural areas.

Having said that, this state is still extremely red. It's my home, though, so I'm not ready to give up on it.
