Sen. Coburn (R- Coathanger) is on another planet
Edited on Thu Sep-15-05 10:26 AM by Atman
This guy is on CNN pontificating and lecturing about the waste, the deficit, the unconscionable debt being passed on to future generations, railing against the irresponsibility of the congress for continuing to spend as if we had money.

Hey, douche bag...see the "Senator" before your name? And that little (R)? Guess what, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM YOU ARE RAILING AGAINST.

Show us your voting record, douchebag. Let's see how you stood up against all this waste.

Oh, wait, no need. That (R) tells us everything we need to know; you've voted for every wasteful pile of pork shit and vile hate legislation conjured up by your "leaders."

So here's some advice. STFU, and get off my teevee, you lying sack.

1. Did you see him (literally) crying about "partisanship" and how much it
hurts his heart during the Roberts confirmation?

This guy is a total wacko. Total.

3. Coburn is pretty much the worst of the worst...
http://thinkprogress.org/2005/09/13/coburns-hypocrisy-a-crying-shame/

Here’s how Tom Coburn has done his part to mend the partisan divide:

Coburn on his 2004 opponent: It’s a “battle of good vs. evil.”

Coburn on the Oklahoma legislature: “You have a bunch of crapheads in Oklahoma City that have killed the vision of anybody wanting to invest in Oklahoma.”

Coburn on doctors: “I favor the death penalty for abortionists and other people who take life.”

Coburn on homosexuality: “The gay community has infiltrated the very centers of power in every area across this country, and they wield extreme power … Why do you think we see the rationalization for abortion and multiple sexual partners? That’s a gay agenda.”

In 2003, President Bush appointed Coburn chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV and AIDS, giving him a prominent platform as he prepared to run for the Senate. If elected, Coburn would not only help the GOP maintain its power but would surely emerge as one of the most outspoken conservatives in the country. The former three-term congressman, one of Newt Gingrich's "revolutionaries" from the class of 1994, an Okie from Muskogee, thunders for traditional values and crusades for limited government. He packages this political agenda in his image as a kindly family doctor -- an obstetrician.

10. Remember, this is Bush's America. Nobody needs to be qualified
as long as he/she has an acceptable political stance.
