Poll question: If you do not now support Clark or Dean, who would you lean to?

This should be interesting.

Assuming it will finally come down to Dean vs. Clark, which one will get the majority of the other 7 candidate's supporters?

4. I dont like dean that much
Edited on Wed Dec-17-03 11:45 PM by corporatewhore
i think that he is an oppertunistic politics as usual politician. He really sold him self as the democratic wing of the democratic party when he aint. when he can be right of center on some issues such as health care and gun control.Clark never tried to sell him self as gods gift to liberalism(far from it).Ilike him better personality wise(i dont base my vote on this ) than dean.i dont like him on the issues that much but in some areas better than dean .Not really leaning towards clark or dean on the issues I will vote for kucinich in the primaries defintely no one is gonna take that away from me!!!!!

6. interesting idea
I expect that people may just withhold support until the convention and deny either of them, should it actually go down that way (which I'm beginning to really doubt), the backing.

The downside to this primary cast is taht they each tried hard to isolate themselves fro the rest that it makes it hard to shift. You see that in the polls both here and more scientific as well.

9. reword your question...
...to say "If it comes down to..."

instead of "Assuming..."

and you won't have people refusing to vote on principle.

10. Cool poll.
If Dean or Clark supporters truly stay out of it... I guess the honor system has to be observed here. I didn't vote.

13. I was for
Edwards before Clark entered the race but I stayed out of the poll so as not to foul it up. :-)

16. Very good poll
As a Clarkie, I didn't vote either.
John
I note that Dean is getting most of what could be called the left side of the Dem scale, while Clark is dominating among the centrists.
Interesting.
