I live near Riverside...This is a particularly on the mark letter in the newspaper:

VOTER RESPONSIBILITY

In 1983, President Reagan accepted full responsibility for the death of 241 Marines in Beirut.

Now President Bush states "I take full responsibility" for the federal government's inept response to Hurricane Katrina.

What about the responsibility of the voters who put Bush in office? How may they atone?

The informed dissenter is the true patriot. Those blindly following the leaders of any party are not patriots, they are cult members.
