look bad lately. Not that I care - but it almost looks like somebody is trying to sandbag him (no pun intended). Why with the poor response to Katrina and the aftermath, his visits to the region when he finally got the message, his visit today to Chevron, this speech that didn't go over well with his base nor may I say the MSM. It almost looks like somebody is trying to sink him.

Could it be that KKKarl knows that Plamegate indictments will cause * to abandon him and he is trying to show * that - he could make or break him?

Any thoughts?

1. Perhaps the media is just waking up

Katrina truly may have been a tipping point. People seem to be casting a very different eye on Bush now. They are no longer succumbing to the low expectations game. They seem to be judging him more objectively. And when you do so, this guy simply cannot win. His is simply bad governing.

I believe that the media is setting * up. I believe that the administration is complicit. I believe that we will see a republican savior step in and unpants the emperor.

6. Well, um, sort of.

I posted some similar idea a while ago - that by letting * stumble badly now, Rove looks like even more of a "genius" for somehow conning the American people to vote for this nitwit.

My idea was greeted with hearty laughter and comments about tinfoil. As it probably should be, but hey, ya know, it's just an idea.

I don't know if I actually believe it. But the thought did occur.
