rove given $200,000,000,000!
The filthiest, nastiest political operative, TRAITOR, and criminal has been put in charge of the the rebuilding of New Orleans and the antichrist wannabee wants to give him 200 BILLION dollars to spend carte blanche. Has anyone's morning fishwrap felt this fact important enough to print? Mine didn't! Is this getting any play in the corporate media? I really thought I was the beyond the point of further outrage, but this has really got to be the most blatant finger in the eye yet to the People and most won't even know about it. Are any in the "opposition" enraged by putting a traitor in charge of such an important project with such a large sum of $$$$$?

1. And what is Rove's position in the government of the United States?
This is not good. This is not right.

Today, I am the master of understatement.

10. I had seen that earlier this AM on DU
and had bookmarked the NYT article mentioned. Also this WSJ article referenced: http://online.wsj.com/public/article/0,,SB112674719461641356-xBXMJZ6RgAI_jvfdeMefSiDrmf0_20051015,00.html?mod=blogs

We all know that Dubya doesn't go to the potty without Karl Rove's watchful attendance, but I need a SPECIFIC reference to Rove being "placed in charge of all that $$$$$". I participate in other forums where a few are drinkers of Karl's Koolaid. They of course will NOT make the necessary inference except at gunpoint. (Firarms, of course, are explicitly forbidden there).

I can't help but compare this to putting ahmed chalabi in control of Iraq's oil. No matter the situation our regime will put forth the WORST possible solution. rove is America's chalabi, pass it on.........

6. Gotta keep it in the family.
Just what are Rove's qualifications to head the NO task? This is just another inept appointment. Bush needs to keep the distribution of NOLA money under wraps and out of public view to be sure that his corporate cronies benefit. Why else would Bush give Rove the mission? Surely he could have found someone with credentials to handle the job...but the question is, who can they trust to play out their plan.

17. If true, where's the media?
Didn't they give Rove and Scotty a hard time over Rove outing an undercover agent not so long ago? That was, I thought, the beginning of the awakening of the media!

It's time to get on that story again. I think America will be outraged if they learn this.

My Repub. family didn't believe me when I told them about Halliburton and Blackwater ~ until I proved it to them. They were shocked, having turned against Bush since the election. Each day, their eyes are being opened more and more ~

I hope this is a joke of some sort ~ if not, it just proves what a liar Bush is. All his promises in his speech last night, meant nothing, but then most people knew that anyway.

If Patrick Fitzgerald cares about his country, he'll get those indictments out as fast as he can. So, what's the delay?
