A letter to Eliot Spitzer:
Mr. Spitzer,

I wanted to bring the issue of election fraud to your attention, particularly with how it relates to DIEBOLD. Please reference this link for information I believe you may find rather interesting. (http://www.bradblog.com/) It is a sad state of affairs when the only people doing investigative journalism are internet bloggers. If our voting tabulation is suspect, then so too is our entire democracy.

I understand that it may be outside of your ability to investigate in an official capacity. However, as I have followed some of your actions as AG I have come to believe that you actually try to affect positive change for the people, rather than for the influential power players out to make a buck. I am immensely disheartened by the current state of politics in this nation at virtually every level of governance. This country is in some serious trouble in my opinion and I hope that you will look into this, or at the least, keep it in mind as you consider a New York State run for Governor. As it stands right now, I plan to vote for you. Hopefully that vote will be properly tabulated.

Sincerely,
XXXXXXXXXXX
US Navy and Army Veteran

4. Thank you. He may not be able to investigate if they didn't use
Diebold machines connected to modems in his state but he probably knows people in other states that could start looking into this!! Good for you.

8. Yeah, that was my thinking,
even if it is outside of his duties to directly do something about it, perhaps he can bring it to the attention of those that can. I am sure he could have the clout to make some noise with it if he were to choose to do so.

10. Not "it may be of interest to them"
not "maybe someone will glance at it" but...

..."Your message has been forwarded to the appropriate members of our staff. It will be of interest to them".

It WILL be of interest.

I WILL keep trying.

11. Very nice, Olaf!
I have thought about writing to him many times myself. It's a shame there aren't more like him!
