* live on CNN; just got asked where the money is coming from
Edited on Fri Sep-16-05 02:19 PM by gulfcoastliberal
Giving platitudes about the extent of the destruction. Now qualifying meaning the federal money will be for "infrastructure" - bridges, roads, sewers. "Cut unnecessary spending". "Should not raise taxes (to promote economic growth, wtf)". "spend money wisely". "Work with congress to 'offset' other spending". "Big roll for private sector" - "give good tax relief in 'enterprise zones'".

There it is folks.

Edit for spelling.

8. The great heist of 2005!
I think it's more important to ask where the money is going than were it's coming from. Let's see... Halliburton, by any chance?

What a racket! I think Bush just told us he's going to bankrupt this country to line the pockets of his pals. And, we're supposed to be grateful.?

He spoke of last night. After 1st going on about how USA & Russia doesn't want Iran to have nuclear weapons.

He allowed TWO (2) whole questions! Rove must be still passing kidney stones.

11. Yeah, on the credit cards of your children and grandchildren...
They will be the ones paying the crazy debt accumulated by Bush/Cheney to pay Halliburton. All this money, like in Iraq, is going to Halliburton, and everyone knows that well.

Bastards!

12. What ever happened to the policy of "you break it, you pay for it."
The "incompetence" story does not excuse criminals from paying for damages they caused. Well, at least that's the way it works for us peasants.
