2. We Need A Middle Class Tax Cut Now!
It is the middle class that is suffering the most. Our economics are really made up in the U.S. is a lower class and a very large lower middle class and the upper class. The middle class is all but disappeard. We need middle class thinking minds like John Edwards. He harped on a middle class tax cut during his bid for president in 03'

18. the problem is not high taxes but low wages
what we need are higher wages. If the median wage were adjusted for productivity gains since the mid 70's it would be about $5.50/hr higher then it currently is. That's $11K a year far more then you could possibly get from a tax cut.

5. Even in doublethinkspeak
repealing the Megarich tax cut can not be considered a "new" tax... they have not YET completely obliterated the MEMORY span of the American public. Even bringing it up will shed some light on the profiteering going on.

12. But, but, but...he's going to be giving the estate tax cut and capital
gains tax cut to the people trying to rebuild their lives in NO! They can cash in their portfolio with the Carlyle Group and not have to worry about paying taxes. Bush is always watching out for the little guy!

16. Bill Clinton was on the Today Show today, and talked repeal..
Last week, Wes Clark talked about repealing the tax cuts (he actually talked about repealing them all through his primary campaign in '03-'04...), and I believe I read that Howard Dean has talked repeal.

There are probably others, but those are the ones I think I am right about.
