14% is not close. It's not a horserace.
But it is amazing that less than 100,000 votes will somehow define the momentum of a race for 55 million votes.

Some exit polling data I heard was that folks are not happy with the invasion of Iraq (6 more dead yesterday), or the economy (with 40% saying they were better off 4 years ago). Keep in mind many indy voters today in NH not just Dems. This could portend badly for the current occupant of the WH. Remember, Clinton won NH twice.

2. Dean improves from third in Iowa to solid second in NH |
|
turns it around when he was running third in the ARG poll earlier in the week. I'm not taking anything away from John Kerry, Congrats to him and his supporters, but as a Dean supporter I'm proud of what he had done in NH this week and the way he fought back. Now it is on to Feb. 3rd.

Then things will get interesting.

6. Kerry destroyed Dean. CBS which loves Dean is hoping we can't |
|
count. A 15% lead is huge.

9. Which is exactly why this isn't over yet. |
|
Dean lead for months, while all kerry could do was say "me too" to both bush and dean. We'll see if people don't regain their senses in the next few weeks.
