Red States Reconsider: Bush hits lowest level of presidency in Kentucky

LOUISVILLE, Ky. A new poll out today shows President Bush's approval rating in Kentucky has dropped to its lowest level since he took office. The latest Bluegrass Poll also shows that two out of three Kentuckians surveyed believe the nation is seriously off on the wrong track.

The poll appears in today's editions of The Courier-Journal of Louisville.

Fifty percent of those surveyed approved of Bush's job performance. That's down nine percentage points from a February sampling. The poll found that 48 percent of Kentuckians disapprove of Bush's performance in office, a statistical dead heat with the 50 percent who approve of it. Two percent had no opinion.

I still find it absolutely incredible that the Boy King Impostor has any higher rating than 5% or so. If Katrina didn't wake people up to who this fucker really is, what his true priorities and concerns are, and what an embarrassing disgrace he truly is to the presidency, then NOTHING will! The fact that he had to be dragged away from his vacation, and that his aides had to hold a conference call to discuss how to tell him that, speaks volumes and EVERY American should know that.

He wasn't upset about the destruction of an entire city and an entire section of the country, the deaths of hundreds, and the dislocation of hundreds of thousands more, etc., etc. No, he was upset about having to end his fucking vacation, when he'd already been on vacation for nearly FIVE WEEKS. FUCKER!!!!!

I think we have a good chance at turning Kentucky and Tennessee blue in the future. What was the final count last year for Kentucky? With Tennessee it was Bush 57% and Kerry 43%. Not terribly bad. But could be better. Gore only lost by four percent which I was surprised. I hardly see any Bush stickers around my town now days. I still do but very few and far between. It's worth a chance.

that's the story that infuriated me, the goddam hypocrites! States rights, sure! when Blanco called for federal help, bush tried to force her to allow federalising the effort: her refusal (if it was clinton, maybe federalising relief effort not a bad idea, but blanco KNOWS bush isn't bill clinton!) set stage for all the hohumming that bushinc has carried out since..and the thing is, if a free press existed, all this stuff would be known about, and bushinc ruined as citizens, much less elected officials!
btw not saying clinton a purer heart then bush, just that the PIGMEDIA watched clinton like a hawk (which maybe part of reason bill ran a halfways decent admin.)
