may be retiring?? If so this should be another senate seat for us!!

3. I would think she would almost certainly be repaced with a Dem...
the only reason her and collins win is because they are somewhat moderate, or at least percieved that way.

2. My cousin a democrat worked for her a few years back.....
was in town this weekend and mentioned that she is thinking about not running again.

4. What I heard:
Many Mainers have been tuned and waiting for this news, but at a recent Maine Dem. fundraiser, I was told that Olympia Snowe has hired on staff, and it looks like a run.

I would love to see Tom Allen in that seat.
