37. Internet polls are non-scientific trash so I would not worry too
much about the ethics of stuffing a push poll. Look at the preface to the poll, any statistician would laugh his ass off.

25. AOL is freeper-land
Oftentimes their polls are terribly, terribly skewed by Freepers because it is their last bastion and they will defend it in its irrelevent glory till the very end. Better to spend time on an online poll that will actualy be reported on the air like MSNBC, CNN, or FAUX.

By the way, 69% believe that the giggling murderer did a better job than Nagin. That's okay, because Nagin is a Republican in all but name, anyways. That, and the freepers love their "busses" bullshit.

My only question is "have the bodies been removed yet?" and the follow-up to the question, "who is in charge of collecting the bodies....Nagin?"

Bush was incompetent then, and he is incompetent now. The freepers can spin and masturbate in their fantasy-land all they want, but it does not change a thing.

18. What caused my harsh grade was ...
the activities prior to the storm striking. I think that left much to be desired and had nothing to do with the feds. Just what Nagin did and did not do.

After the breach, he was tiptop.

26. Bush was bad before and after
I'm not sure about Nagin's plan to have folks come back, except that it looks like he had folks returning to a mostly unflooded area. Nevertheless, there are no services for people coming back, and I worry about the toxicity. Some think he was playing politics. I think he was trying to get his people back in before the Feds tried to keep them out. But still, with another hurricane coming and such, it seemed to be too soon.

But there has been enough blame for all levels of government. Even so, Bush gets more. Louisiana hadn't been hit like this for 40 years, so I can understand their not having an infrustructure to deal with it like Jeb has. FEMA under different presidents has done a better job, and other presidents haven't fiddled while Rome drowned. So my worse criticism is still at the Fed level.

He shares at least SOME of the blame.

38. Done
How would you rate Nagin's handling of the Katrina disaster?

Poor 65%
Good 13%
Fair 12%
Excellent 10%

Who's done a better job during the crisis?

President Bush 67%
Mayor Nagin 33%
Total Votes: 563,817

Freepers are naturally going to vote against an African American. There's no longer any doubt about the racism in the Republican Party. Newsmax and Rush et al have left no doubt anymore.

And AOL is not a good place to get a 'fair and balanced' poll.

I just heard on the news that the number of dead is now 970. That's the same as it was yesterday!!! WTF, are they on vacation again? Bodies are all over the place, three weeks later!! Why can't the NO undertakers pick up those bodies?

This truly is an outrage. Maybe it's time for volunteers to go down there with the families of the missing and do it themselves, and give some dignity to those American Citizens whose bodies are left, hanging over fences and under rubble and Bush's undertaker friends are doing exactly what???

I think it's time for Mayor Nagin to get outraged again. We know of at least one body that hasn't been picked up. Maybe we need to send them some pictures.
