7. And can we please hear what Bush said during that briefing?
A picture says nothing. I want to know what really goes behind the scenes. Only audiovisual records can give an accurate picture of that. And you never see Bush during a cabinet meeting. You never see and hear how decisions are made. But only that matters. Photos and photo-ops are not about governance.

During the 2000 campaign Gore was asked whether he would put a 24/7 camera to the Oval Office. He said it was a good idea.

Imagine that the public could actually see and hear what goes on inside the government.
Imagine that you could see Dick Cheney at the CIA HQ and hear how he puts pressure on analysts. Imagine that you could see what members of the OSP say leading up to te war.

There's no democracy without a transparent government. And there is no transparent government in the US. Everything is just threater.

Can't find it now, but someone posted a photo of a shirt-sleeved B*** proving that he either forgot his deodorant, had break-thru perspiration or didn't wear his kevlar underarm shields.
